Airalo vs Nomad in one paragraph
Airalo and Nomad ride the same network in Turkey, Türk Telekom, so the choice is about plans and price. Nomad is cheaper on buckets: 10 GB for 30 days at $13 against $15.50 at Airalo, 20 GB at $20 against $22.50. Airalo is the one that sells unlimited at every length: 3 days at $11.50, a week at $24.50, a month at $69, with 3 GB a day at full speed before it slows to 1 Mbps. Nomad sells unlimited only as 5 days at $17, with 2 GB a day at full speed, then slower. Pick Nomad if you want a bucket. Pick Airalo if you want unlimited for a week or a month and have your heart set on one of these two. If the trip is 3 days, two weeks or a month and you want unlimited, neither is the cheapest: Ringo Light sells 3 days at $8.99, 2 weeks at $12.99 and 30 days at $26.99, unlimited data at full speed.
Price: the same trip at each
Priced on 25 October 2026, in US dollars, from each brand's own site. For 3 days of unlimited, Airalo asks $11.50; Nomad sells no 3-day plan. For a week, $24.50 at Airalo; Nomad's nearest is 5 days at $17. For 30 days of unlimited, $69 at Airalo; Nomad sells none. For 10 GB over 30 days, $15.50 at Airalo and $13 at Nomad, Nomad's sale price that day, $15 regular. For 20 GB, $22.50 at Airalo and $20 at Nomad. Nomad wins every bucket row; Airalo wins unlimited by being the only one of the two that sells it past 5 days.
Ringo Light sells three trips for Turkey: 3 days at $8.99, 2 weeks at $12.99 and 30 days at $26.99. The 2 weeks costs about half of Airalo's one week at $24.50 and less than Nomad's 5 days at $17. The 30 days costs $26.99 against $69 at Airalo. The 3 days costs $8.99 against $11.50 at Airalo. At each of those lengths Ringo Light is the cheapest of the three.
For a fixed amount of data that lasts a full month, Nomad is the buy: 10 GB at $13, 20 GB at $20. Airalo is $15.50 and $22.50. Ringo Light sells no buckets. Its 2 weeks at $12.99 is a cent under Nomad's 10 GB, but it lasts 2 weeks, not 30 days, and its 30 days at $26.99 is $6.99 over Nomad's 20 GB. We would rather you read that here than at checkout.
What unlimited means at each
Airalo's unlimited for Turkey, the Merhaba plan, gives 3 GB a day at full speed, then slows to 1 Mbps until the next day. That is enough for maps, messages and an hour or two of video; a long evening of streaming will hit it. Nomad's 5-day unlimited gives 2 GB a day at full speed, then slower, the lowest daily allowance of the two, so between the pair Airalo is the one for heavier days. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 3 days, 2 weeks or 30 days. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Networks and coverage in Turkey
Turkey has three networks: Turkcell, Vodafone TR and Türk Telekom. Airalo and Nomad both ride Türk Telekom, so on coverage they are the same plan: fine in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Antalya and along the coast, and on the main roads between them. Ringo Light rides a local partner network. If you want Turkcell, which reaches furthest into the countryside, neither Airalo nor Nomad is the brand for it; Holafly and Ubigi carry Turkcell in the full comparison.
Installation, app and support
Airalo recommends its app: you buy, install and top up inside it, and that is also where its support chat lives. Nomad's app is optional; you can buy on its site and install from the QR code it sends, and add data later from the app or the site. Ringo Light needs no app; the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan, and support is by email. Whichever you pick, install it at home before you fly and switch it on for data when you land at Istanbul, Sabiha Gokcen or Antalya. All three let you buy after landing, on hotel Wi-Fi.
The cheaper third option: Ringo Light
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM, sold to fund the full Ringo, one plan that works everywhere with your own number ported onto it. For Turkey it sells three trips, all unlimited data at full speed: 3 days at $8.99, 2 weeks at $12.99 and 30 days at $26.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app.
What it does not do: no buckets, no 7-day plan, no phone number, data only. Calls go over apps that use data. If you want 10 GB to last a whole month, Nomad at $13 is the better buy, and Nomad's 20 GB at $20 is $6.99 under our 30 days. For 3 days, two weeks or a month of unlimited, Ringo Light is the cheapest of the three.

How we compared, and our sources
Airalo, Nomad, Ringo Light
We priced Airalo, Nomad and Ringo Light for Turkey on 25 October 2026, all on the same day, in US dollars. Each rival's price comes from its own website where it showed dollars, otherwise from an esimdb.com listing, and every source and its date is listed below. Ringo Light's prices come from the catalogue our checkout charges.
We compare the trips people actually book: a week, two weeks and a month of unlimited data, and a 10 GB bucket. We read each brand's fair use and speed rules and quote them as the brands state them. We did not run speed tests, so this page makes no speed claims for any brand.
Ringo Light is our own product. We put it in the table on the same terms as everyone else, and where a rival is the better buy the page says so.
Left out: Holafly, Saily and Ubigi. They sell Turkey too and are priced on the same day in the full comparison at /blog/best-esim-for-turkey. This page answers one question, Airalo or Nomad, so it keeps to those two and the cheaper third option. Left out: Maya Mobile. Its own site refused the fetch on the day and the two listings that carry it disagree on the 30-day price, so it stays out rather than being guessed.
