Holafly vs Saily in one paragraph
Saily is cheaper than Holafly for the long Europe trips: $49.99 against $51.50 for 15 days and $71.99 against $76.50 for 30 days. Saily is cheaper for a week too, $26.99 against $27.50, and Holafly is the only one of the two that sells 3 days, at $11.90. Holafly gives you the simpler product: unlimited days with no stated daily cap, installed from a QR code with no app, in 33 countries. Saily gives you more choice, buckets as well as unlimited, in 35 countries, but its unlimited slows to 1 Mbps after 5 GB a day, and you need its app. Pick Saily if you want a bucket or the lower price for 7, 15 or 30 days. Pick Holafly if you stream all evening and never want to think about a daily cap, or if the trip is 3 days. If the trip is two weeks or a month and you want unlimited, neither is the cheapest: Ringo Light sells 2 weeks at $22.99 and 30 days at $35.99, unlimited data at full speed in 33 countries.
Price: the same trip at each
Priced on 25 October 2026, in US dollars. Holafly from its own Europe page; Saily from its own saily.com page. For 3 days of unlimited, Holafly asks $11.90 and Saily sells no 3-day plan. For a week, $27.50 at Holafly and $26.99 at Saily. For 15 days, $51.50 at Holafly and $49.99 at Saily. For 30 days, $76.50 at Holafly and $71.99 at Saily. So Holafly wins the 3-day row, which Saily does not sell, and Saily wins the rest: by $0.51 on a week, $1.51 on 15 days and $4.51 on the month.
Ringo Light sells two trips for Europe: 2 weeks at $22.99 and 30 days at $35.99. The 2 weeks costs less than half of Saily's 15 days at $49.99 or Holafly's at $51.50. The 30 days costs less than half of Saily's $71.99 and Holafly's $76.50. Ringo Light sells no 3-day or 7-day plan. For 3 days, Holafly at $11.90 is the only one of the three that sells one. For a week, our 2 weeks at $22.99 still costs less than Holafly's 7 days at $27.50 or Saily's at $26.99, with a week of days left over.
For a fixed amount of data, Saily is the only one of the three that sells it: 10 GB for 30 days at $35.99. Its 20 GB was not listed on the day. Holafly sells no buckets. Ringo Light sells no buckets either. If what you want is 10 GB that lasts a full month, Saily is the one to buy; our 2 weeks at $22.99 is cheaper but ends after 2 weeks.
What unlimited means at each
Saily's unlimited for Europe gives 5 GB a day at full speed, then slows to 1 Mbps for the rest of the day. That is enough for maps, messages and a few hours of video; a long evening of streaming in HD to a laptop will hit it. Holafly states no daily cap for your own phone and limits hotspot sharing to 1 GB a day, so Holafly is the one to pick between the two if you share data to a laptop every day, but only up to that 1 GB. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 2 weeks or 30 days. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Which countries each plan covers
A Europe plan is only as good as its country list, and the lists differ. Holafly lists 33 countries including the UK and Ireland. Saily lists 35. Ringo Light covers 33: the EU countries plus the UK, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Gibraltar. On the road, each eSIM joins a local network in whichever country you are in; none of the three names one operator for the whole region.
Check the list for every country on your route before you buy, whichever brand you pick. The UK and Switzerland are the two that catch people out: neither is in the EU, and a plan sold as EU only can skip them. Ringo Light includes both; for Holafly and Saily, read the country list at checkout. If your route runs through Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia or Ukraine, none of these three covers them; Airalo Eurolink does, and it is priced in the full comparison at /blog/best-esim-for-europe.
Installation, app and support
Saily needs its app: you buy, install and top up inside it, and that is also where its support lives. Holafly needs no app; it sends a QR code you scan in your phone's settings, and support is by chat on its site. Ringo Light needs no app either; the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan, and support is by email. Whichever you pick, install it at home before you fly and switch it on for data when you land. When you cross a border, Ringo Light moves to a local network in the next country on its own.
The cheaper third option: Ringo Light
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM, sold to fund the full Ringo, one plan that works everywhere with your own number ported onto it. For Europe it sells two trips across 33 countries, both unlimited data at full speed: 2 weeks at $22.99 and 30 days at $35.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app.
What it does not do: no buckets, no 3-day or 7-day plan, no phone number, data only. Calls go over apps that use data. If you want 3 days, Holafly at $11.90 is the only one of the three that sells it. If you want 10 GB that lasts a month, Saily at $35.99 is the one to buy. For two weeks or a month of unlimited, Ringo Light is the cheapest of the three by a wide margin.
