Holafly vs Nomad in one paragraph
Holafly and Nomad answer different questions in Turkey. Holafly sells unlimited days and nothing else: $11.90 for 3 days, $27.50 for a week, $73.90 for 30 days, with no daily cap stated for your own phone, on Turkcell and Türk Telekom. Nomad sells gigabytes: 10 GB for 30 days at $13, 20 GB at $20, and one unlimited plan, 5 days for $17 that slows after 2 GB a day, on Türk Telekom. Pick Holafly if you stream all evening and never want to count. Pick Nomad if 10 or 20 GB will do and you want the lowest price for a bucket. If the trip is two weeks or a month and you want unlimited, neither is the cheapest: Ringo Light sells 2 weeks at $12.99 and 30 days at $26.99, unlimited data at full speed, and 3 days at $8.99.
Price: the same trip at each
Priced on 25 October 2026, in US dollars, from each brand's own site. For 3 days of unlimited, Holafly asks $11.90; Nomad sells no 3-day plan. For a week, $27.50 at Holafly; Nomad's nearest is 5 days of unlimited at $17. For 30 days of unlimited, $73.90 at Holafly; Nomad sells no 30-day unlimited for Turkey. For a bucket, Nomad asks $13 for 10 GB and $20 for 20 GB, both for 30 days, the 10 GB at its sale price against $15 regular; Holafly sells no buckets at all.
Ringo Light sells three trips for Turkey: 3 days at $8.99, 2 weeks at $12.99 and 30 days at $26.99. The 3 days costs less than Holafly's $11.90. The 2 weeks costs less than Holafly's one week at $27.50 and less than Nomad's 5 days at $17. The 30 days costs less than Holafly's $73.90, and Nomad has no 30-day unlimited to set against it.
For a fixed amount of data, Nomad is the only one of the three that sells it. Its 10 GB for 30 days at $13 is a cent more than our 2 weeks at $12.99, and lasts twice as long; if you need 10 GB spread over a whole month, Nomad is the better buy. Its 20 GB at $20 is $6.99 under our 30 days at $26.99. We would rather you read that here than at checkout.
What unlimited means at each
Holafly states no daily cap for data on your own phone in Turkey and limits hotspot sharing to 1 GB a day. It sells days, not gigabytes, so there is nothing to count unless you share to a laptop. Nomad's only unlimited plan for Turkey, 5 days for $17, gives 2 GB a day at full speed and then slows for the rest of the day; that is enough for maps, messages and some video, and a long evening of streaming will hit it. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 3 days, 2 weeks or 30 days. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Networks and coverage in Turkey
Turkey has three networks: Turkcell, Vodafone and Türk Telekom. All three cover Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Cappadocia and the coast well. Holafly rides Turkcell and Türk Telekom. Nomad rides Türk Telekom. Ringo Light rides a local partner network. For a city break in Istanbul, a week on the Aegean or a sunrise in Goreme, any of the three works. If you want Vodafone TR specifically, neither Holafly nor Nomad gives it; Saily does, in the full comparison.
Installation, app and support
Holafly's app is optional: it sends a QR code you scan in your phone's settings, and support is by chat on its site. Nomad's app is optional too; you can buy on its site and install from the email or the app, and its add-ons top a bucket up. Ringo Light needs no app; the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan, and support is by email. All three deliver within minutes, so you can buy on hotel Wi-Fi after you land. Better still, install at home before you fly and switch it on for data when you land at Istanbul, Sabiha Gokcen or Antalya.
The cheaper third option: Ringo Light
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM, sold to fund the full Ringo, one plan that works everywhere with your own number ported onto it. For Turkey it sells three trips, all unlimited data at full speed: 3 days at $8.99, 2 weeks at $12.99 and 30 days at $26.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app.
What it does not do: no buckets, no 7-day plan, no phone number, data only. Calls go over apps that use data. If you want 10 GB to last a whole month, Nomad at $13 is the better buy, a cent more than our 2 weeks and twice the days. If you want 20 GB for a month, Nomad at $20 is cheaper than our 30 days at $26.99. For 3 days, two weeks or a month of unlimited, Ringo Light is the cheapest of the three.

- Nomad, if the trip is 5 days and you want its price. $17 for 5 days of unlimited, 2 GB a day at full speed. Ringo Light's 2 weeks at $12.99 is still cheaper, with nine days left over.
- ✓Ringo Light, if the trip is 3 days, 2 weeks or a month. Unlimited data at full speed at $8.99, $12.99 or $26.99, cheaper than both at each of those lengths.

Ringo Light unlimited, 30 days, $26.99, against $73.90 at Holafly, whose sharing is limited to 1 GB a day. Nomad sells no 30-day unlimited; its 20 GB at $20 if that is enough.
None of these travel plans does that. The full Ringo, which Ringo Light funds, ports the number you have.

How we compared, and our sources
Holafly, Nomad, Ringo Light
We priced Holafly, Nomad and Ringo Light for Turkey on 25 October 2026, all on the same day, in US dollars. Each rival's price comes from its own website where it showed dollars, otherwise from an esimdb.com listing, and every source and its date is listed below. Ringo Light's prices come from the catalogue our checkout charges.
We compare the trips people actually book: a week, two weeks and a month of unlimited data, and a 10 GB bucket. We read each brand's fair use and speed rules and quote them as the brands state them. We did not run speed tests, so this page makes no speed claims for any brand.
Ringo Light is our own product. We put it in the table on the same terms as everyone else, and where a rival is the better buy the page says so.
Left out: Airalo, Saily and Ubigi. They sell Turkey too and are priced on the same day in the full comparison at /blog/best-esim-for-turkey. This page answers one question, Holafly or Nomad, so it keeps to those two and the cheaper third option. Left out: Maya Mobile. Its own site refused the fetch on the day and the two listings that carry it disagree on the 30-day price, so it stays out rather than being guessed.
