The prices, charted
US dollars, 25 October 2026. Ringo Light sells 2 weeks, the nearest length it has, so its bar covers twice the days of the others. Airalo and Saily each give 5 GB a day at full speed, then 1 Mbps; Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed.
The 30-day unlimited plan at each brand. Airalo and Saily slow to 1 Mbps after 5 GB a day. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed.
The bucket most people buy for a two-week holiday. Saily and Airalo are a cent apart. Ringo Light sells no bucket: its 2 weeks is unlimited and lasts 2 weeks, not 30 days, so for a fixed 10 GB either of the other two is the cheaper buy.

Airalo vs Saily in one paragraph
Saily edges Airalo on unlimited for Thailand by a cent: $20.99 against $21 for a week, $48.99 against $49 for a month. Airalo sells a 3-day plan at $9.50 where Saily sells none. Both ride AIS and True, and both give 5 GB a day at full speed and then slow to 1 Mbps, so the cap is the same and the price gap is a cent. On buckets the two are nearly level: Saily 10 GB at $10.99 against Airalo at $11, Airalo 20 GB at $18 against Saily at $19.99. Saily's case is its app, the cleanest of the brands in the full comparison, and a full refund inside 30 days if you never install the eSIM. Pick Airalo for a 3-day plan or a 20 GB bucket. Pick Saily for a week, a month or 10 GB, or if you want that refund. If the trip is two weeks or a month and you want unlimited, neither is the cheapest: Ringo Light sells 2 weeks at $22.99 and 30 days at $32.99, unlimited data at full speed.
Price: the same trip at each
Priced on 25 October 2026, in US dollars. For 3 days of unlimited, Airalo asks $9.50 and Saily sells no 3-day plan. For a week, $21 at Airalo and $20.99 at Saily. For 30 days, $49 at Airalo and $48.99 at Saily. Saily wins the week and the month by a cent each; Airalo wins the 3-day row because it is the only one that sells it.
Ringo Light sells two trips for Thailand: 2 weeks at $22.99 and 30 days at $32.99. The 30 days costs $16.01 less than Airalo's $49 and $16 less than Saily's $48.99. Ringo Light sells no 3-day or 7-day plan; for a long weekend Airalo at $9.50 is the only short plan of the three, and for a single week Saily at $20.99 and Airalo at $21 are cheaper than our 2 weeks at $22.99, by about two dollars, though ours lasts twice as long.
For a fixed amount of data, Airalo and Saily both sell it and Ringo Light does not. 10 GB for 30 days is $10.99 at Saily and $11 at Airalo. 20 GB is $18 at Airalo and $19.99 at Saily. Airalo also sells small buckets from $4 for 1 GB and $7 for 5 GB. If 10 GB is all you need, either of them is cheaper than Ringo Light's $22.99, and we would rather you read that here than at checkout.
What unlimited means at each
Airalo's unlimited for Thailand gives 5 GB a day at full speed, then slows to 1 Mbps for the rest of the day. Saily's unlimited does the same: 5 GB a day at full speed, then 1 Mbps. Five gigabytes covers maps, messages, social feeds and a couple of hours of video; a long evening of streaming in HD on the hotel wifi's bad days will hit it. Between the two there is nothing to choose on the cap, and a cent to choose on the price. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 2 weeks or 30 days. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Networks and coverage in Thailand
Thailand has three networks that matter: AIS, True and dtac. All three cover Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket and the ferry ports well, with 5G in the cities where the network offers it. Airalo rides AIS and True. Saily rides AIS and True as well, so on coverage the two are the same product. Ringo Light rides a local partner network. For Bangkok, the north and the main islands, any of the three works; for dtac you would need Holafly or Nomad, which are in the full comparison.
Installation, app and support
Airalo's app is optional: you can buy on its site and install from the details it sends, or do it all inside the app, where its support chat also lives. Saily needs its app; you buy, install and top up inside it, and it gives a full refund inside 30 days if you never install the eSIM. Ringo Light needs no app; the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan, and support is by email. Whichever you pick, install it at home before you fly and switch it on for data when you land at Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang or Phuket.
The cheaper third option: Ringo Light
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM, sold to fund the full Ringo, one plan that works everywhere with your own number ported onto it. For Thailand it sells two trips, both unlimited data at full speed: 2 weeks at $22.99 and 30 days at $32.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app.
What it does not do: no buckets, no 3-day or 7-day plan, no phone number, data only. Calls go over apps that use data. If you want 10 GB for a month, Saily at $10.99 or Airalo at $11 is the better buy. If you want a long weekend, Airalo at $9.50 is the only short plan here. If you want a single week, Saily at $20.99 and Airalo at $21 are cheaper than our 2 weeks at $22.99. For two weeks or a month of unlimited, Ringo Light is the cheapest of the three.

How we compared, and our sources
Airalo, Saily, Ringo Light
We priced Airalo, Saily and Ringo Light for Thailand on 25 October 2026, all on the same day, in US dollars. Each rival's price comes from its own website where it showed dollars, otherwise from an esimdb.com listing, and every source and its date is listed below. Ringo Light's prices come from the catalogue our checkout charges.
We compare the trips people actually book: a week, two weeks and a month of unlimited data, and a 10 GB bucket. We read each brand's fair use and speed rules and quote them as the brands state them. We did not run speed tests, so this page makes no speed claims for any brand.
Ringo Light is our own product. We put it in the table on the same terms as everyone else, and where a rival is the better buy the page says so.
Left out: Holafly, Nomad and Ubigi. They sell Thailand too and are priced on the same day in the full comparison at /blog/best-esim-for-thailand. This page answers one question, Airalo or Saily, so it keeps to those two and the cheaper third option. Left out: Maya Mobile. Its site renders prices only in the browser and its help pages refused the fetch, so it stays out of the full comparison too rather than being guessed.
